Setting up FAQs
At Wixs n Wax, we take pride in handcrafting our dessert candles with a special focus on using high-quality, natural ingredients to create delectable scents that truly stand out. Our dessert candles are more than just a fragrance; they are an experience that evokes a sense of indulgence and delight. We carefully select and blend our fragrances to accurately capture the essence of classic desserts, such as blueberry waffle, watermelon, and Hawaiian breeze. Additionally, our candles are thoughtfully designed to resemble the appearance of mouthwatering desserts, making them a unique and visually appealing addition to any space. With Wixs n Wax, you can enjoy the comforting and inviting aroma of your favorite desserts without the guilt of indulging in the calories.
The best way to burn a scented candle from Wixs n Wax is to ensure you trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting to prevent smoking and soot build-up. When lighting the candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the wax melts and reaches the edges of the container. This will help prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn for future use. It's also important to place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Always follow the specific instructions provided with your candle to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Yes, candles can expire over time. At Wixs n Wax, we take pride in our high-quality, hand-poured candles made with premium waxes and fragrance oils. When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, our candles have a shelf life of approximately 1-2 years. Over time, the scent and color of the candle may fade, and the wax can develop a dusty or chalky finish. To maximize the lifespan and performance of your candles, we recommend using them within a year of purchase and following our care instructions. This includes trimming the wick, burning the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time, and keeping the wax pool free of debris.
